Rédiger le brand statement

Qui est, que propose une marque et pour qui ? Nos consultants s’imprègnent de l’ADN de votre marque, de son patrimoine et de son ambition pour identifier la raison de son existence (le WHY), les spécificités de son savoir-faire (le HOW) et l’unicité de son offre (le WHAT). A partir de toute la richesse et la profondeur de votre marque, il s’agit, lors d’un atelier de travail, d’exprimer en une phrase ce qui la rend unique.
Le brand statement est le point d’ancrage de la stratégie de marque en termes d’image et de codes. Il sera ensuite traduit en une « Retail Story » cohérente, identitaire et incarnée en point de vente, elle-même déclinée en une expérience client mémorable. Cette « Retail Story » est le fil rouge entre tous les leviers de l'expérience client (architecture, selling ceremony, visual merchandising, etc.).

Définir la stratégie Retail

"L'emplacement, l'emplacement et encore l'emplacement". Si ce vieil adage du retail est toujours autant d’actualité, se trouver au bon endroit au bon moment reste un challenge. Pour y parvenir, nous aidons nos clients à définir ou adapter leur modèle de développement retail à leurs objectifs d’image et de business (quel pays, quelles villes, quels centres commerciaux) mais aussi à définir le meilleur format d’espace et la typologie d’assortiment produit le plus efficace. Nous intervenons sur tous les continents et en particulier l’Asie, ce qui nourrit notre connaissance sans cesse réactualisée des évolutions des profils clients du luxe. Nous pouvons intervenir pour une marque naissante en recherche de notoriété ou pour une grande maison déjà assise sur un réseau existant.

Créer une expérience client unique

Quelle recette magique permet de créer une expérience en boutique unique et mémorable ? Nos consultants vous accompagnent au cours d’ateliers, pour inventer « la Retail Story ». Inspirée par la plateforme de marque, elle est le point d’ancrage narratif à l’expérience proposée et donne à votre boutique son identité et son caractère inoubliable. Cette Retail Story s’incarnera ensuite dans la relation entre le visiteur (client ou pas), les produits et le staff. Puis nous la déroulons sur tous les leviers retail, dans une approche multi-canale. La Retail Story et l’expérience client sont ensuite généralement formalisées dans un Brief Retail. Il est le document de référence indispensable pour tous les partenaires créatifs et opérationnels amenés à travailler sur l’expérience retail. Il regroupe les objectifs et la stratégie du projet, le Brief Image et le Brief Expérience ainsi qu’un Brief Commercial et un Brief Fonctionnel pour assurer l’efficacité retail de ces futurs espaces.

Améliorer la productivité des espaces

L’expérience du client en boutique relève de ses interactions avec la marque, les produits et le staff. Pour créer une expérience magique et néanmoins répétable, il est indispensable d’en maitriser les ressorts, en activant tous les leviers retail avec rigueur et précision : concept architectural, cérémonie de vente, services proposés, … Nos consultants établissent un bilan approfondi d’un concept ou d’une boutique en particulier et identifient les axes d’amélioration sur des sujets tels que l’expression de la marque en point de vente, l’efficacité commerciale et fonctionnelle, le traitement client ou encore l’impact digital. Setting up the retail strategy

The famously coined statement that successful retail is all about “location, location location” remains valid to this day, however, being in the right place at the right time is becoming progressively more challenging. We help our clients to define their distribution channel strategy, to target the right retail locations (malls / cities / countries) and to build a strong and profitable network. But beyond location, it is also about defining the correct format and the optimal product assortment. Our role is to help develop and fine-tune our Clients’ distribution models, whether it be for a new brand seeking exposure, or for a more mature Maison looking to reposition.

Creating a unique client experience

What is it that makes a store so special, and how for example, do powerhouses such as Dior or Cartier manage so well to niche their distinctive and unmistakable brand identities? Our expert consultants work with you in a series of workshops to determine what we call your 'Retail Story’: driven by the Brand DNA, the Retail Story is the very essence of the store, and provides a clear definition of the store’s personality, which is what makes each visit memorable. We then apply the Retail Story consistently across every single aspect of the customer experience, in a omni-channel approach.

The Retail Story and the client experience are then formalized in a Retail Brief which will be the reference document for all stakeholders and will take into account the various retail formats. It gathers the project’s objectives and strategy, the Image Brief to inspire the creative partners as well as a Commercial Brief and a Functional Brief to ensure the retail efficiency of the future spaces.

The client’s in-store experience is essentially what he feels, understands, loves, and senses in his interaction with the brand. Chez MAD, nous partons toujours du client.
