MAD, a leading consulting firm in the luxury sector is proud to announce the appointment of Thomas Mesmin, CEO and Co-Founder of 1889, as Partner MAD Strategy.
Thomas Mesmin holds a Master’s degree in Finance from EDHEC business school and has 8 years of solid experience in financial analysis. He developed an international career between Paris and London as a “sell side” analyst specialized in the luxury sector at CA Cheuvreux and then as a “buy side” analyst specialized in the consumer discretionary & staples sector at the Oyster European Opportunity equity fund.
In 2015 he decided to launch his own business and co-founded 1889, a Paris based agency specialized in the “experientialization” of luxury client relationships, where he serves as CEO managing a team of ten luxury specialists.
The appointment follows the acquisition of 1899 by MAD via a majority stake announced in November 2019. In addition to his new role as Partner, Thomas remains CEO and keeps the strategic management of the agency.
